What we collect

Your email address and name, the content your family adds to a tree (people, photos, stories, recipes, events, messages), payment records such as who contributed what, and basic technical logs that keep the service secure and running.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data and we do not show advertising. Trees are private to the people invited to them.

Who processes it for us

Supabase hosts our database and file storage. Stripe processes card payments, and we never see or store full card numbers. Video meetings run through LiveKit on a server we operate. An email provider delivers invitations and receipts.

Payment records

Fundraiser and dues payments are visible according to role: the owner and the family's payout manager can see who paid, organizers can see entries with anonymous givers hidden, and other members see only their own entries and family totals. Downloads of payment records are logged.

How long we keep it, and deleting it

Your content stays until the tree owner deletes the tree or you ask us to delete your account. Owners can delete a tree in Settings. To delete your account or ask for a copy of your data, email info@seethestarsllc.com.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email info@seethestarsllc.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

A tree may include profiles of minors, added by their family. Only adults hold accounts.

Cookies

We use only what signing in needs. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes

We may update this policy and will say so on this page.
