Who we are
EverBranch is a private family tree service operated by See The Stars LLC, a South Carolina company. You can reach us at info@seethestarsllc.com. By creating an account or using EverBranch you agree to these terms.
What EverBranch is
EverBranch lets a family build a private tree together: people, photos, stories, recipes, gatherings, fundraisers and dues, and video meetings. Only people the tree's owner invites can see a tree.
Accounts and the tree owner
You are responsible for your account and for what you add to a tree. The person who creates a tree is its owner. Owners decide who is invited and what role each person has, and are the only people who can change the plan or delete the tree.
Acceptable use
Do not use EverBranch for anything unlawful, to harass or threaten relatives, or to upload content you have no right to share. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
The family plan
A tree starts free as a solo tree. The family plan is billed per tree to the owner, monthly or yearly, and renews until cancelled. The owner can cancel any time in the billing portal and keeps access until the end of the period already paid. If a plan ends or a payment keeps failing, the tree becomes read-only: everyone can still see and download what is there, and nothing is deleted. Invited relatives never pay.
Payments between relatives
Fundraiser contributions and dues are paid to the family's payout manager through Stripe. EverBranch is not a party to those payments and does not hold the money. Questions about them are for the people involved.
Video meetings
Video meetings are live and private to the people in the call. EverBranch does not record them.
Ending your use
You can delete your tree or stop using EverBranch at any time. We may end service to accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimers and limits
EverBranch is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, See The Stars LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, and disputes will be heard in the courts of South Carolina.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell owners by email before it takes effect.
